« A Celebration in Grindelwald:
ROMANCE IN THE MOUNTAIN »

AT THE HEART OF EUROPE, LIES GRINDELWALD, SWITZERLAND...
High above the valley of Grindelwald, surrounded by dramatic alpine peaks and the quiet presence of grazing cows, Joi and Shu chose a place that once captured their hearts to celebrate their union.
Living in New York yet deeply connected to their Chinese roots, their story came full circle in Switzerland, a country that had left a lasting imprint on them during a previous journey. It was only natural for them to return, this time with their closest friends and family, to turn a cherished memory into something eternal

AN INTIMATE CELEBRATION ABOVE THE CLOUDS
Their wedding unfolded in one of the most iconic mountain settings of Grindelwald. The ceremony felt both intimate and grand, a delicate balance between nature’s raw beauty and the refined elegance of the moment.
There was a quiet poetry in the air. The mountains stood still, the light was soft, and emotions moved freely. Every glance, every smile, every tear carried a sense of authenticity and depth. Joy was everywhere, in the laughter, in the embraces, in the way their loved ones witnessed this unique moment.

ELEGANCE IN EVERY DETAIL
The ceremony itself was defined by a timeless elegance. Nothing felt excessive, yet everything felt perfectly placed. The simplicity of the setting elevated every detail, allowing the emotions to take center stage.
Joi and Shu embodied this balance effortlessly. Their presence, their connection, their energy, all spoke of a love that is both gentle and powerful.

AN EDITORIAL ENDING IN THE ALPINE LIGHT
As the day slowly transitioned toward evening, the light became stronger, more directional, creating the perfect atmosphere for a final portrait session.
We embraced a more editorial approach, playing with contrast, textures, and the striking alpine scenery. There was something cinematic in the way the light sculpted the mountains and framed the couple.
In a beautiful and personal touch, Joi also picked up her own camera, capturing fragments of the moment from her perspective, a quiet dialogue between photographer and bride, between observation and emotion.
